Fighting snow is one of the problems which miniature railroads Do not have to face. This does not apply to a outdoor roads, but there are not so many of these.

Anyway, your model very likely will be non-working as far as revolving brushes are concerned. How ever, there are two or three ways in which a "brush," (railway men some' times call them that) can be built. The first and easiest way is to build an ornament or dummy that is to be a non-working model to decorate your car house. Two or three of these stored on a track beside the barn will add much to the realism of the place. The second way to build one would be a model that would run, but would have non-working brushes. The third method, quite obviously, would be one on which the brushes would revolve, too. A complete operating car can be built, but a lot of work will be necessary. Later on, I'll give you a few hints.
