The typical small motor coastal tanker of today is the 966 gross tons Adrian M, a fine little ship owned by Messrs. Metcalf of London. Featured this month as our working model plan, the full sized Adrian M measures 216.6 in length overall on a moulded breadth of 31.2 feet. At a scale of just 1/8 of an inch to the foot, the Adrian M makes an ideal subject for a 'kitchen table' project, or for those with a limited workshop. There is a fair amount of interesting detail on this model, but all at a reasonable scale, adding interest especially for those who like the constructional side of model making.
