The Topsy is a model plane designed for simplicity and ease of construction with inherently stable flight characteristics. Its plan was conceived, and the model built and flown, during a 15 day furlough. The construction of Topsy is such that it can easily be built and flown within a week, yet test flights show it has an the ruggedness and strength usually associated with more intricately designed models.
Excellent results have been obtained with the original Topsy, and a great deal of fun and satisfaction is assured to all who build this simple, easy-to-fly model
