I have also outlined a method whereby one can have a removable tank. If you ever had to cut into a plane to fix a leaky tank, then you would know the reason for it. Build a plane with a permanent tank and it will leak. I don't know why, but it works that way for me. I am a firm believer in Murphy's Law "If anything can possibly go wrong, it will." So why leave anything to chance when it is a simple matter to make a removable tank.

I cannot overemphasize the fact that you should strive to build the lightest airplane possible, because performance depends mainly on three things, alignment, trim and weight. One is just as important as the other. I have flown many ships that were too heavy, but I have never flown one that is too light.
