THIS model is unusual in several 'ways, not least of which is the amount of material virtually entirely used up—e.g., the deck is the largest which can be cut in two halves from a sheet of 1/8 in. x 3 in. balsa, the sides of the hull absorb all but half a square inch of a sheet of 3/32 in., and the hull bottom and cabin tops leave only shavings from a sheet of 3/8 in. The superstructure uses a second sheet of 1/8 in., and the bulkheads come out of the pieces left from both 1/8 in. sheets. Four sheets of balsa thus build the model, with no waste to speak of. Moonmist is designed round the Elmic Thrust-Pak, though conventional motors and shafts can of course be used.
