Designed by Douglas McGhee

THERE is no full-size prototype forth is boat: the model is specifically designed for strength and simplicity.

Hull Construction

Hull construction is unusual but simple, ideally suited to the modeler with D.I.Y. tools or the club member who has the use of school technical facilities in the evening half an hour with a band saw can save considerable work.

The method of building offers the advantage of ample accommodation for your choice of power and radio without internal carving. A change of superstructure could give the additional height to permit installation of a small steam plant. The original model was made from obeche throughout; balsa could be used but would prove expensive.
