The Hull

   The basic framework is constructed from 3/16in and 1/8in balsa so a note on the tools required may help. A razor blade and wooden ruler are quite useless for this type of work; use a steel rule or straight edge and a sturdy cutting knife. Perhaps the most useful tool is a steel try square, one with a 3in or 4in blade will be quite adequate and ensures accurate right angles.
