THERE are very few Mother Hubbards still in existence, and it is my intention to have a model of each type. This will eventually include the 0-8-8-0 mallet of the Erie. This model of the Lehigh Valley Mikado, like several of my other M. H.'s, was built after the last of the prototype was scrapped,
Checking with numerous photos of this class locomotive (Class N l), changes in location of the several auxiliary devices may be noted. Some were equipped with superheater and Franklyn Piston Valves with outside steam pipes. These are not shown on the drawing but will be given with an alternate cylinder sketch.
