General note The whole business of making cardboard models has been covered in great detail by Geoffrey Deason in his 'Simple Cardboard Models' and readers are advised to buy a copy of this and read it. This excellent manual describes all the tricks and materials and tools needed to produce superlative models.
Cardboard and glue ‑ White card about ‑1/32 in. thick (0'75mm) should be used. You can buy this at any art shop or handicraft place. It is in sheets about 20in. x 25in. and costs approximately 25p per sheet One sheet is ample for this model.
There are many suitable glues on the market but I use Britfix 66 balsa cement and their 77 polystyrene for the plastic card and spruce parts).
