The fuselage is a quite straightforward box with added formers, covered on top with 1/32in sheet from nose to tail. Soft block added between the first and second formers at top and bottom is then carved to shape. THE SK8 was used as a trainer in various Swedish squadrons between 1929 and 1938. Power was provided by an Armstrong Siddeley Mongoose five-cylinder radial. Air-cooled engines were better suited to the semi-arctic conditions found in Sweden. Cruising speed was about 100mph, an ideal speed for learner pilots.
