The Stahlwerk is a classic configuration, first conceived during WWI. The configuration is still being built today by many homebuilders in the form of the Pietenpol and the Baby Ace. The high-wing parasol monoplane has been with us almost eighty years, so I suppose it's safe to predict that it will still be built as a full-size aircraft as long as homebuilders.
