Whilst this range of motor yachts were designed to have a reasonable performance under sail, I am not sure if a model rigged as shown would sail satisfactorily, so I suspect that a removable keel extension would be beneficial and reduce leeway. In any event, the model could be built showing the sails furled on the booms, and operate solely as a powered model, certainly the type as shown on the plans has sufficient character and looks to appeal.
