CONSTRUCTION:

Begin making your model by cutting out the two side pieces. Use the grids as a guide to laying out the proper curves on the 1" x 1” strip stock used for these parts. Locate bulkheads A and G and cement them in place along with the 1" sheet balsa bow block. You may at this time also add the other bulkheads and the 1/8" x 1/4" cockpit side strips.

Installation of the underwater drive is simple. A K&O marine unit proved to be ideal. Note that the rudder is located on the transom and supplies simple and easy adjustment. Try to keep the prop deep to guard against cavitation. Running properly, this model sits up on three points—the sponson tips and the prop. Larger engines are best for tether running.
